March 13, 2013 – I’ve been back in Edmonton for over a month now. I’m missing the snow and Yellowknife people, while I’m loving the milder temperatures and Edmonton people. I have been trying to be a bit more internet proactive which has been fun. Fun fact: You can now sign up for my mailing list if you’re not already on it in the contact section of my website. February 14, 2013 – Happy Valentine’s Day! If you haven’t heard, I made the move back to Edmonton at the beginning of the month and am currently getting used to life in Alberta again. If anyone is around this weekend, please come out to the Northern Lights Folk Club on Saturday night. I will be playing with Braden Gates and Scott Cook. I can’t think of a better welcome back to Edmonton than sharing the stage with these fellows at my favourite folk club. September 19, 2012 – End of another summer. Got to play some great gigs in Edmonton, Edson Peace River and Yellowknife. Looking forward to a great one coming up in Hinton for Alberta Culture Days. I know it’s going to be a fantastic event.
May 8, 2012 – Spring is here in Yellowknife (I don’t want to say it too loud in case it changes its mind). I’ve got a few cool projects on the go, and some really exciting shows coming up. Stay tuned! The boys and I did a photo shoot a few weeks ago with Penny from Centree Photography and I’m really looking forward to the results. I’ll post one as soon as I get something back. March 9, 2012 – One of my dreams since first coming up to Yellowknife is coming true tomorrow night. I will be playing at the Snow castle! Hopefully get some photos for you all. If you are in Yellowknife, come out! It’s not every day you get to see live music in a building made entirely of snow. Hopefully I will get some pictures for you all!
February 9, 2012 – I am really looking forward to getting down to Alberta next week to perform with the Younger Band for some shows in Edmonton, Hinton, Jasper and Edson. We’ve got some school shows lined up in Hinton as well as a songwriting workshop in Edson. All in all, it should be a great week! July 1, 2011 – Welcome to the recently revamped jessicaheine.com. Big thanks to Logan for giving me a quick lesson in HTML and setting this site up for me. I’m excited about the new layout and am looking forward to all the new things you’re going to see on here.
