Jessica Heine’s latest album, Build Again, is an emotionally grounded record that reflects on resilience, uncertainty, and renewal after loss. Released in 2024 via Fallen Tree Records, Build Again marks her fourth full-length record and continues her collaboration with producer Peter Stone, (of 100 mile house and Rosina Cove) following 2019's, Goodbye Party.
Lyrically, Build Again blends themes of grief, introspection, empathy, and cautious optimism. Across its ten tracks, the album showcases Heine’s relatable story driven songwriting, blending clever wordplay with accessible folk melodies. The songs are further elevated by warm, organic arrangements, while Heine's clear expressive voice remains central throughout.
Overall, Build Again is a record about repair rather than rupture, a meditation on how we recover, adapt, and continue forward after things fall apart.
